7 days travelling by dromedary in the Sahara desert
We would like to invite you on a journey to rescue the meaning of Adventure in all its magnitude, by embarking on a trip that will mark a “before and after” in your life path… Seven days roaming through the black morrocan desert, right by the Argelian border, in the company of dromedaries and berbers, evoking humanity’s nomadic roots and dissolving the boundaries of time and silence.
A trip as rich as your longing for exploring the untamed, for the feeling of traveling as high as your imagination, for connecting at last with that part of yourself that you have seen and been so moved by in travel books, because it speaks directly to who you are.

Classroom
In order to really take in the wisdom of the Great Sahara desert, we need to dive deep into it.We need to establish a real and meaningful connection, in a lapse of time-space that is broad enough to allow your mind and senses to unwind and make room for the best friend you will make on this journey, one that will allow you to hear it all and to listen in, to appreciate everything and to understand yourself best: silence.
Our offering is to embark on a true adventure; one to connect to the essence within that defines us as travelers. An experience in which to get lost without any rush under some of the most expansive and marvelous nightskies of the planetthat will be waitingand available for you to learn how to read them, and to teach your mind how to “sail” among stars.
An adventure that will give you the chance to play the djembe alongside Berbers, to laugh and chat around the nightly fire, while also allowing for yourself the instants of getting lost in conversation with it, of feeling its heat, warming your outsides and slowly illuminating some of those inside corners that long for transformation, of the old into the new, and that seek to burn out what you do not need anymore.

An adventure in which to comprehend the vastness of the space under your feet, in which you can feel and really grasp with your own senses the planet that holds you and embraces you as part of itself.
An adventure in which, at the same time, we will honor and value the element of water; looking to reconnect with those everyday actions that we overlook and underplay, eating food with hungy bellies, which is when it tastes the greatest, and breathing in light blue skies.
We want to invite you on an all-caps journey; to be part of a camel caravan through the biggest desert in the world; and to live an adventure that will put the focus back on valueing “the little things” in order to understand “the bigger picture”, so you can bring back that focus home and into what truly matters to you.

The difference in budget lies in the addtion of a transatlantic plane ticket. Available for latinamerican travelers from Argentina, Brasil, Chile, Perú and México due to visa requirements.
The Traveler’s Budget is what we estimate you will invest for the entirety of this experience, but, as always, it will be up to you. It is your trip, do not forget it.

Spirituality
One of the reasons that drives the School to enable this kind of experience is the desire to connect ourselves with humanities’ nomadic roots, and we feel that in order to do so, it is essential that we integrate spirituality as a part of who we are.
To feel so small in such a vast space will give the opening to raise meaningful questions to whoever is willing to ask them.
Responsability
One of the crucialpremises to be a free and independent traveler is to learn how to take the risks that your heart is pressing you to face, in a personal and responsible way.
Nonetheless, you will be traveling with me, Miguel, who, besides having traveled through many landscapes in the planet with all my senses on, I have gone through extensive trainings on people, meditation and health, so I could come with you and ensure a safe and healthy traveling adventure.

The route we propose with camels is safe and doable for any person withan averagefitness level. Nevertheless, you will discover that in their saddles there is little room for comfort.

This classroom’s travelers group is open to both Spanish and English speakers, so this might come as a great opportunity for those desiring to practice their language skills.
Tecnology
In the desert there are no power outlets nor 3G coverage. But there is lots of sand, stones, Sun, Moon, camels, distant mountains, heat, the sound of silence, fires at night, stars, endless space, an infinite horizon, the voice from your fellow travelers, and,even if you would think otherwise, it is beaming with life.This is why we invite you to use these days as an opportunity to disconnect from technology. It will do you good, you know it. 😉
